3 Simple But Biblical Marketing Tips

Top of the week to you! If you’ve gotten this far then I take it your interested in new marketing tips or just coming along for future insight. Whether you’re currently an entrepreneur, starting a business, or building your personal brand I’m here to give you 3 simple but biblical tips on marketing. As we go through this together, feel free to journal whatever God is speaking to you during this time. So lets get started!

“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?” Luke 14:28

Priorities….Planning….and The Process. As Christians we hear how important it is to have faith & how to also “put in the work” but this scripture speaks on STRATEGY. I can’t speak for you but I was more of the “gutsy” saint. Like, I would just throw it all in & wait to see the outcome. Until I realized how careless & reckless I was with my PURPOSE & how much time was wasted. Don’t get me wrong, of course there are moments when God desires for you to take a leap of faith but these aren’t the moments I’m speaking of. I'm specifically speaking on the gifts/assignments He has entrusted with you to take care of. We should get to a point where we want God to trust us with our gifts/assignments.

So this week take the time out to strategize your goals. Go through the details, do the research, make the phone calls, & do your due diligence. I’ve noticed that God doesn’t do anything small, He’s very detailed with His creation & most of the tasks we're given require a community. So if you have a team or are planning to have a team in the future make sure you are strategizing with them in mind for the future health of your business. Do your best to handle God’s children with care & set them in an environment to effectively work on what you’ve asked them to do in the Spirit of Excellence.

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Matthew 1:23

The humanity of Jesus has now allowed us to connect with Him because we know He is able to understand our condition. We are able to connect with Him in a way that not even the angels are able to understand. As you’re planning your marketing strategy don’t get caught up in comparing yourself to others & forget the need of your targeted client. Connect with your audience by offering transparency & humilty in how you market your brand. Show them that what you have to offer is important because it RELATES to there everyday lifestyle. Which brings me to my last marketing tip……

Tip #3- PROOF

“Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person[a] is by the kind of fruit produced.”

Matthew 7:20

When clients are searching or considering a product they want to see proof in the marketing. They want to know the quality of the product & have the assurance that it will benefit them in some way. What if I told you that your life is THE PROOF of the product you’re offering. Yes, how you live, how you carry yourself, & how you speak is all proof. When I buy something I want to know that it will work for me, that my investment wasn’t in vain. So if I don’t see YOU as an example of your product then why would I want to spend my hard earned money on it. If it doesn’t look like it’s working for you & its yours, then why would I even bother taking it for myself. You should be living proof of what you're marketing.

Those are my tips & I pray that they will be useful to you when designing your marketing plans. I'd love to read your thoughts on what has worked for you & what you think of these 3 simple but biblical marketing tips. So feel free to comment below & engage with us. Happy Monday!
